Surajpur Industrial Area is where you will find us, specifically at A-3. It’s a big space and it stays pretty busy from the early morning shift until late at night. Working here at India Yamaha Motor means you get used to the sounds of machines and the sight of trucks coming in and out. It’s not the most peaceful place, but there is a rhythm to it that you start to appreciate after a few months. The industrial area itself is quite vast, so getting around takes some time. We spend most of our hours on the floor or in the office sections trying to keep things on track. There is always a lot of dust because of the construction nearby, but we manage. Lunch breaks are usually spent at the local stalls or in the canteen where everyone talks about the latest cricket score or the traffic on the way in. It’s a straightforward environment. We aren't here to make grand speeches about what we do. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home. The building has been here for years and shows a bit of its age in the corners, but it serves the purpose. It feels like a small city inside these gates once the full crew is working. We see the same faces every day and that makes the long hours feel a bit shorter than they actually are on some days.
