Our office is located in Greater Noida at E-157 in Gama-Ist. It’s a bit of a distance from the main factory side of things in Birganj, but this is where we handle a lot of the administrative side of the cement business. Working with cement involves a lot of logistics and keeping track of shipments, so the office stays pretty busy with phone calls and spreadsheets. Greater Noida is a planned area, so things are laid out well, though it can feel a bit quiet compared to the busy industrial sites. We have our regulars who come in and out. Most of us here have been in the industry for a long time, so we know the drill. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. Dealing with cross-border logistics between here and Nepal adds a layer of complexity to our days. We have to make sure all the papers are right. The office is just a standard space where we sit and do our hours. We don’t go for anything flashy. We just focus on getting the product where it needs to go. Sometimes the days are long, especially when there are delays at the border or with transport, but that is just part of the trade we are in. We just keep moving forward one day at a time here in the office.
