Motherson Auto Ltd

Our place is Motherson Auto Ltd, situated at C-14 A & B in Sector 1 of Noida. Being in Sector 1 means we are right in the heart of one of the older industrial areas in Uttar Pradesh. The building is a big one, divided into different sections for the various parts of the manufacturing process. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the lines during a shift. We make components for the automotive industry, so the machines are usually humming from early morning until late at night. It’s a very busy environment with people in uniforms moving around and trucks backing into the loading bays constantly. The area around C-14 is always full of people during the shift changes. We don’t have much time for sitting around talking. Most of the staff has been here for years, and we all know the routines by heart. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is steady and keeps us busy. Noida has grown a lot around us, but Sector 1 still feels like a proper workshop zone. We have our own rhythm here. The floors are hard concrete, the lighting is industrial, and there’s always the sound of something being assembled or moved. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just come in, do our shifts, and make sure the parts are ready to go out to the customers on time. It’s a large scale but we keep it simple.
