Moolchand Medcity, New Delhi

This office is actually over in Noida, in Sector-71. We are in the Metro Apartments, specifically A5/24A. It’s a bit of a trek from the main Medcity in Delhi, but this is where some of our administrative and support stuff happens. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than a hospital setting. We deal with the paperwork side of things. There are files everywhere and someone is always on the phone. It feels like a busy beehive sometimes. We aren’t doctors here, just the people making sure the back-end stays running. The apartment setup is a bit tight, with desks pushed against walls, but it’s functional for what we need. We like being in Noida because it’s a bit easier to get around than central Delhi. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the rain floods the roads and everything slows down. We don’t have a big reception desk or a waiting room with old magazines. If you come by, you’ll just see us working away at our computers. We’ve got a kettle in the corner for tea and coffee. It’s a very normal office life. We handle the data and the records that keep the bigger machine moving. It’s not flashy work, but it’s necessary for things to work. We just do our bit every day and then head home to our families in the evening. It’s a decent living and we keep it simple.
