Mod Pack Industries

We’ve been here at D-74, Sector-6 for a while now. Mod Pack Industries is basically just a group of us who know how to put things together. It gets pretty loud in the shop sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with machines all day. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing who we’re talking to. People usually just drop by if they need something sorted out. There’s no big reception area or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and find someone. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we don't need much instruction anymore. We handle the daily stuff and try to keep the machines running right. Sometimes things break down and we spend the afternoon fixing a motor or something, which keeps life interesting. It's a regular workplace. We show up, do the jobs that came in yesterday, and try to get them out the door. Sector-6 is a busy area, lots of traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the noise outside. We don’t spend much time on the computer or writing long emails. If someone calls, we answer. If they don't, we're probably busy on the floor. It’s just how we run things. Nothing too complicated about it. We’ve got our routine and it works for us and the people who buy from us. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address on the door. We mostly focus on the technical side. It isn't always pretty.
