Meenu Wool Store

Meenu Wool Store is tucked away in Sector 27 over in Indira Market. If you know the E Block area well then you probably have passed by our place a few times while doing your regular shopping. It is a simple shop and we have been here for quite some time now. The shelves are mostly packed with different types of wool and knitting supplies which makes the whole place feel a bit soft and quiet compared to the noise of the traffic outside. We spend a lot of our day just unpacking bundles and putting them where they belong on the racks. The light in the market can be a bit dim in the evenings but we have our lamps on to see the colors of the yarn clearly. It is funny how people still enjoy knitting even with everything you can buy ready-made in the malls these days. We see a lot of the same faces coming in every winter looking for something new to start working on. The shop is not very large so when a few people are inside at once it gets a bit tight near the door. We usually have some tea sitting on the counter while we work through the daily orders or help someone find a specific needle size they need. Indira Market is always moving and there is always something happening on the street, but inside the store things stay pretty much the same. We like the routine of it all.
