Lokta

You can find Lokta over in Sector-72, Block-A, specifically at A-16. This part of the sector is mostly quiet compared to the main roads. We moved into this space because we needed a bit more organization. It’s a standard industrial block, nothing too exciting to look at from the outside. Inside, we’ve tried to make it as comfortable as possible. We have a few desks and some shelving units we put together ourselves last summer. The air conditioner struggles a bit when it gets really hot outside, so we usually have a few extra fans going. We aren’t a very big team, just a handful of us who have known each other for a long time. We start the day with a quick chat about what needs to be finished. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on the tasks at hand. Sometimes we order food from the small dhaba around the corner when we have to stay late to finish a project. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a few notes taped up near the door. We don't spend money on decorations or fancy furniture because that’s not really our style. We just need a place that works and where we can get our heads down. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. No one is rushing around or making a big fuss, which is nice for getting things done.
