In Roorkee, you can find us at House Number 80 in Sanjay Colony. This is where we handle things for Larsen & Tuobro Limited. It’s a local neighborhood, and we operate out of a regular house that’s been converted into an office space. Vipin Kumar is usually the person handling the main tasks here. Roorkee is famous for its engineering history, so it feels right to have a base here in the Haridwar district. We are quite far from the big corporate headquarters, but we like it that way. It’s quieter, and we can focus on the local work without too much distraction. Our day starts with a look at the weather and a check on the site progress. We deal with a lot of technical drawings and administrative work for the Ecc projects in this part of Uttarakhand. The office is pretty basic—just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy office; we are here to get the engineering right. Sometimes the roads around the colony get a bit cramped, but we manage. We know our neighbors and often chat with them during lunch breaks. It’s a small-town feel, even though we are part of a much larger company. We just do our work, keep our heads down, and try to make sure everything is built according to the plans. It is just honest work in a place we know well.
