Kishan Arts

Kishan Arts is located at Shop 33/A in Sher Singh Market, over in Naya Bans, Sector 15. The market is always crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their daily shopping. We have been in this tiny shop for quite a few years now. It is packed with cans of paint, brushes, boards, and half-finished signs leaning against the walls. There is not much room to move around, but we have a system that works for us. We do a lot of hand-painted work, which is becoming a bit rare to see these days. It takes a lot of time and a very steady hand to get it right. My father started this business, and I have just kept it going the same way. We do not have a website or anything like that. Most people just walk by the shop and see what we are currently working on. The smells of paint and thinner are always in the air here. It is a bit of a messy job, but seeing a finished sign drying in the sun is a good feeling. Naya Bans is a lively place to work. We know all the other vendors in Sher Singh Market, and we often share tea in the afternoons. We are not looking to expand into a big factory. We like being a local shop where someone can come in and describe exactly what they want. It is just honest, old-fashioned work for our local customers.
