You can find Kapil Dry Fruits Corner at Sanjay Market in Sector 27. It is one of those shops where the smell hits you before you even see the sign. We have big open bags of almonds, cashews, and walnuts sitting out, and the air always smells a bit like raisins and pistachios. The shop is small and the wooden shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We have to use a ladder to reach the jars of dried figs or the fancy gift boxes. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked in the corners. Every morning we spend an hour just weighing things out into smaller packets and tying them with those little gold wires.
