Kailash Hospital & Heart Institute

The building at H-33 in Sector 27 is hard to miss. Kailash Hospital & Heart Institute is written right there on the front. It’s a big name for a building that feels very much a part of the local neighborhood. The street outside can be a bit chaotic with cars and rickshaws jostling for space. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we’ve seen the area change around us. The building has several floors, and the windows look out over the rooftops of Sector 27. It’s a practical space. We don’t spend much time worrying about the latest design trends. Instead, there are benches that have seen better days and corridors that lead off into different wings. The heart institute part of the name brings in a lot of people from further away, not just the immediate neighbors. You see families waiting in the lobby, talking quietly or looking at their phones. The lighting is a bit bright, the kind you expect in a place that never really closes its doors. Outside, the sounds of the city are constant. The pavement is a bit cracked near the entrance, but nobody seems to mind much. It’s a place where people come when they have things to take care of. We keep the doors open and the lights on, just a regular fixture in this part of the city. We have seen many seasons pass from this corner of Sector 27.
