K G N Leather Garments

Our place, K G N Leather Garments, is located at Sector 4 C-101. It’s a decent sized spot but it’s always full of leather scraps and big heavy rolls of hide. You can smell the leather the moment you get near the door, which is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We spend a lot of time cutting and measuring things on the big wooden tables we have set up in the back. It’s not exactly a quiet place because of the heavy-duty sewing machines we use. They make a lot of racket when they’re running fast. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been doing this for a long time, so they know exactly how to handle the tougher pieces of leather without making mistakes. Sometimes the electricity goes out in Sector 4 and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on before we can finish anything. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy outside. Most people find us because they know we are at C-101. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the windows open, even if the street noise gets a bit loud. We just focus on getting the jackets and bags or whatever else we are making put together right. It’s hard work on the hands, but it’s what we do every day here. We just try to keep things moving and get our orders out to the customers.
