J&K Cements

Our spot for J&K Cements is on Gulmohar Road in Noida. It is a busy area with a lot of construction always going on nearby. You can hear the sounds of hammers and drills from morning until the sun goes down. The office is at 12/02, and it stays pretty dusty because of all the cement bags we handle. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. Mostly it is just calendars and some old charts showing delivery routes. People come in all day asking about prices or when the next truck is arriving from the plant. Noida is a fast place, but we try to keep things simple. We have a small crew here. Usually, one person is handling the phone and another is checking the yard. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that is usually when we take a break. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it hard to stay inside the small cabin, so we sit under the shade of the trees outside. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the cement to the builders who need it for their projects. It is straightforward and often quite tiring, but the days go by quickly when there is a lot of loading to do. We’ve been on this road for years and know most of the local contractors by name now.
