Jai Durge Plaster & Hardware

Being at Plot No. 1 in Sadhbhavana Market means we see a lot of people coming through Sec 121. It’s right near Pluto County, so there is always some kind of construction or renovation going on around here. Jai Durge Plaster & Hardware is mostly just piles of plaster of paris bags and buckets of paint. It gets a bit messy, especially when we are moving the white powder around and it gets all over the floor and our hair. I usually start the day by sweeping up, but it never stays clean for long. We’ve got all sorts of hardware bits tucked away in drawers. Sometimes I forget where the small stuff is, but I eventually find it after looking for a bit. The market can get pretty loud during the middle of the day with all the trucks unloading and people talking. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our thing. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. It’s just a practical space where we keep what builders and homeowners need. If you need a hammer or some plaster for a wall, this is where we keep it. My hands are usually dry and rough from the plaster, but that is just part of the job. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood, which is nice. It’s a decent spot to work, and being at the front of the market makes it easy for people to drop by and pick up what they need. We just focus on keeping things in stock every day.
