Indian Motor Works

Indian Motor Works is located in Vashista Market, over in Sector 53. We are a small, independent workshop where we fix all kinds of vehicles. It’s mostly manual mechanical work—things like engines, brakes, suspension, and other oily parts. The floor in the shop is usually covered in oil spots, and there’s almost always the sound of metal tools clanking together. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning or coffee machines. Most people just leave their cars or motorbikes with us and come back later in the afternoon when we’re finished. Sector 53 is a bit more relaxed than the big main markets, but Vashista Market stays busy enough to keep us on our toes. We’ve got a couple of guys working here who are really good with their hands and don’t mind getting dirty every single day. We handle a lot of the older vehicle models that people still drive around this part of town. We don’t really use any of those high-tech computer diagnostics; we mostly just listen to the engine and figure out the problem from our own experience. It’s honest, hard work. We tell you exactly what’s broken and what it will realistically cost to fix it. We don't try to sell people extra services they don't actually need. Sometimes we have to wait a day or two for a specific part to arrive from a supplier across town. We just tell the customer how it is.
