Hunt Formwork Services Ltd. is tucked away at A-26 in Sector-59. We are right near the Amar Ujala office, so if you find that, you’ve basically found us. The yard is usually full of steel poles, wooden planks, and all the heavy stuff used for building foundations. It’s not a quiet office job. Most of the time, there’s the clanging of metal and the sound of the crane moving things around. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with sites or checking the condition of the forms coming back from jobs. Some of the equipment is caked in dried concrete, and we have to spend hours cleaning it off so it’s ready for the next person. The office inside is small and usually has a few layers of dust from the yard. We have a lot of blueprints and clipboards lying around on every flat surface. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when the trucks are lined up to get loaded. We don’t really have time for formalities or long meetings. We just get the orders sorted and make sure the guys have what they need. The coffee is usually cold by the time we get to drink it. It’s a straightforward business. We provide the bones for buildings, and it’s heavy, dirty work that keeps us on our feet all day long. We’ve been in this sector for a while and know most of the neighbors.
