Being over in Sector 63, specifically at C-110, means we are right in the thick of things. This part of the city is always moving, and our office is no different. We spend our mornings checking emails and the afternoons usually out at different locations where things are actually being built. The office itself is pretty basic—we have desks, chairs, and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look more important than we are. We just connect people with homes and try to make sure the process doesn't give them too much of a headache. Sometimes things go wrong, like a contractor not showing up or a material price going up suddenly, and we just have to sit down and figure it out. We talk to families who are looking for a place to stay and we try to be honest about what we can do for them. It’s a lot of driving back and forth in the traffic and making sure the workers at the sites have what they need. Some days are better than others, especially when a project finally gets finished and we can move on to the next one. It’s just a regular business run by regular people who know a bit about property and construction in this part of the world.
