Hindustan Zinc Ltd.(Vedanta)

We’ve been here in Bhubaneswar for a while now, specifically over at the Survey India Colony in Type-3/10. You’ll find us in the care of Harihar Barik, right near the R.R. Lab post office. Most people know us through the Vedanta name, but here on the ground, it's just a bunch of us handling the daily tasks. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where we get our work done. We deal with zinc, obviously, which is a big part of what the company does across the country. Living and working around here has its own pace. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a lot of paperwork or site visits to manage. We aren’t really about those big corporate speeches you hear on the news. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and go home. Our neighbors in the colony know us well. It’s a quiet enough area, which helps when you need to focus. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we manage. That’s just how it is working in this part of town. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but our spot remains the same. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we handle every day. There’s always something to keep us busy, whether it’s coordinating with other branches or just making sure the local logs are up to date. We like the local feel of being tucked away in the colony instead of some glass tower downtown. It’s just us doing the job.
