Gupta Eye Care Centre

We are located right by Nehru Garden in Sector 57. It is actually a nice place to work because of all the trees and the park being so close by. People often stop in after they have been out for a walk in the garden. The centre is where we do the eye exams and help people find some glasses that don't look too bad on them. We have the usual machines for checking how well someone can see. It is not a very big place, just a couple of rooms and a front area with some glass display cases for the frames. We spend a lot of time cleaning those cases because fingerprints show up on the glass very easily. Most of our work is just talking to people about their vision and trying to figure out why they are getting headaches at work. We see kids who need their very first pair of glasses and older folks who are struggling with the fine print in books. It is a slow and steady process and we don't like to rush people through the exam. The staff here is small, just a couple of us doing everything from the testing to the billing and cleaning. We keep a big ledger of all the regular patients so we can look back at their old records when they return. Sometimes it gets a bit busy on Saturday mornings when the families have time to come by together.
