Goyal Books Overseas Pvt. Ltd.

Our place, Goyal Books Overseas Pvt. Ltd., is at No-D-232 over in Sector 63. This is an industrial part of the area, so it’s mostly big buildings and warehouses all around us. We have a lot of space here, which we need because books take up a lot of room. There are rows and rows of shelves filled with titles that are going all over the place. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to our building. The air in Sector 63 is always a bit dusty with all the construction and trucks moving back and forth. Inside, it smells like paper and ink, which I’ve gotten used to over the years. We aren't a bookstore where you come to browse; it’s more of a distribution hub. We spend a lot of time packing boxes and checking lists. Sometimes the loading dock gets backed up and things get a bit chaotic. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and see people working. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving heavy boxes and sorting through shipments. Being in the overseas business means we are always looking at different labels. We’ve been at D-232 for quite a while. It’s a solid building, even if it’s not much to look at from the outside. We just focus on getting the books where they need to go from our spot in India.
