You can find us at A-44 in Sector-57. Glusta Leather Fab Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this building for a good while now. It is mostly a workshop where we take raw materials and turn them into finished leather goods. It is not a clean job; there is always scrap pieces on the floor and the smell of the tanning process stays on your clothes. We have a few older machines that we have had to repair more times than I can count, but they still do the job better than some of the newer stuff. The workspace is divided into a few sections for cutting, stitching, and finishing. We do not have a lot of people in the office, just a couple of us handling the orders and talking to suppliers. Most of the action happens on the floor. We are not big on meetings or fancy corporate talk. We just show up, see what needs to be done for the day, and get to it. Sometimes we run behind because of a power cut or a delay in getting the right thread, but we usually manage to figure it out. The neighborhood is mostly other small factories and warehouses, so it is pretty loud during the day with trucks coming in and out. We keep to ourselves mostly, just focusing on making sure the leather looks decent before it is shipped off. It is a practical way to make a living for all of us.
