Global Impex

Global Impex at B-23, Sector 2. Sector 2 is full of places like ours. B-23 is just a regular building with a heavy gate. Inside, it's mostly storage and a small area for us to sit and work. We spend the day looking at manifests and checking boxes. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it's bright outside. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls. It's just calendars and some old notes from last year. The noise from the other units in the sector is constant. You get used to the sound of machines and trucks nearby after a week. We take turns going out to get lunch from the local stalls. It’s usually just quick food like samosas so we can get back to work. There’s always something that needs to be moved or a form that needs a signature. It’s a lot of routine. We try to be careful with the items. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because we have to cover everything quickly before it gets wet. We keep a stash of plastic sheets for that purpose. It’s just how it goes here in the industrial area. People come and go. We stay focused on what’s right in front of us. It’s not very exciting but it’s what we know. We’ve been at B-23 for a good while. Every day is pretty much the same for the team.
