Maple Exim Company is over at B-68, on the 2nd Floor of the building on Sector 64 Linghi Chetty Street. Being on the second floor means we get a little bit of a break from the street-level noise, though Linghi Chetty Street is always buzzing with activity. We’ve set up our office here to manage our export business, and it’s been a good spot for us. The space is mostly filled with desks and shipping documents, as that’s the bulk of what we do. We coordinate with various people to get goods sent to different parts of the world. It’s not always easy, especially with all the regulations and paperwork involved, but we’ve gotten the hang of it over the years. We don't go in for fancy presentations or marketing talk; we just tell people what we can do and then get to work. Sector 64 is a busy area, which is helpful for business, but it can make parking a bit of a nightmare. We’re a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to checking the contents of crates. We don't have a polished corporate image, just a group of people trying to run a decent export house. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, but we keep the operations going. It’s practical, everyday work that doesn't need much explaining. We just focus on getting the exports out the door on time.
