S. K. Power Shop

S. K. Power Shop is right on the Main Dadri Road in Bhangel. We are situated at Plot No. 123, directly opposite the SBI Bank. It’s a prime spot because everyone goes to the bank, but the traffic on Dadri Road can be a real headache some days. Our shop is where we keep all the batteries, inverters, and power equipment. These things are heavy, so there’s always a lot of grunting and lifting going on. The front of the shop is usually lined with old battery casings waiting to be picked up. Inside, it smells a bit like lead and plastic, which is just how a power shop should smell. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. In fact, when the power goes out in the neighborhood, we are usually the only ones with the lights still on because of all the backup gear we have lying around. People come in when they’re tired of being in the dark, and we try to help them out. The floor is stained from some old spills, and the counter is worn down from years of people leaning on it while they talk to us. We’ve been in Bhangel for a long time and have seen the road get wider and the buildings get taller. It’s a noisy, busy place to work, but it keeps us on our toes and we like being right in the middle of the action every single day.
