Our place is in the village and post office area of Dhanori Kalan. This is out in Greater Noida, in Uttar Pradesh. We go by the name DWM. It’s a very local operation, far away from the big glass buildings of the city. We have a small office space here that’s pretty basic. There are a few fans on the ceiling and some old desks. We handle various local tasks and business matters for the people around here. The road to get here is a bit rough, especially after it rains. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just talk to people face to face. Most of the folks working here grew up in Dhanori Kalan or the next village over. We know everyone’s name and who their family is. It’s a quiet way to work, honestly. We don't have computers at every desk, we still use a lot of ledgers and pens. The post office being so close is handy for when we need to send things out. It’s not a fast-paced life, but we stay busy enough. We usually open up early in the morning when it’s still cool outside. By the afternoon, we are mostly just finishing up the paperwork. It’s a plain, honest place to work. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just DWM in the village.
