D.S. Tooling Systems

Our place is at B-10 in Sector-64. It’s one of those standard industrial blocks where everything looks a bit the same from the outside. We’ve been here at D.S. Tooling Systems for a good bit now. Inside, it’s mostly shelves full of parts and the machines we use every day. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a nice waiting room or anyone in a suit. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working. The lighting isn't great, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time just making sure the measurements are right on the tools. It’s quiet work mostly, unless the heavy equipment is going. We don't really do much in the way of decorating the walls. There might be an old calendar or two hanging up from three years ago. Most days involve a lot of standing and checking the gear. Sector-64 gets pretty busy during the morning rush, so we usually get in early to beat the crowd and get the machines warmed up. It’s a straightforward shop. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the routine and don't need to be told what to do twice. We handle the tools and the systems and just try to get the orders out the door. It’s basic, honest work. There’s always a bit of dust around because of the materials we handle, but that’s just part of the job here. It is what it is.
