Our unit is at B-17 in Sector 65, Noida. This is a big industrial sector, so we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses. It’s a busy environment with trucks moving in and out all day long. We manufacture and assemble various appliances here. The floor is usually buzzing with the sound of tools and the assembly line. We have an office section in the front of the building, but the real action is in the back. It’s often quite hot on the production floor, but we have big industrial fans to keep the air moving. We have a pretty large team of workers who come in shifts. Managing the schedules and the parts inventory takes up most of our time. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If someone comes to visit, they usually end up sitting in the main office among the stacks of boxes and samples. Lunchtime is the only time the place gets quiet for a bit when everyone goes out to the local food stalls. We try to keep things organized, but in a manufacturing setting, there’s always something that needs fixing or a part that didn’t arrive on time. We just deal with the problems as they come up. It’s hard work and the days are long. We focus on getting the units out of the door and meeting our daily targets. It’s a straightforward business with no frills, just people working hard to make things that work. We've been here for years now and the routine doesn't change much.
