Construction Mirror

Our office is up on the 4th floor, specifically Office No. 402 at Plot No. A-82. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, which happens sometimes. We’ve got a view of the street from the windows, but mostly we’re looking at our desks. There are stacks of magazines and papers everywhere. We deal with the construction side of things, so there’s always a lot of information to sort through. It’s not a very quiet office; there’s always someone on the phone or talking about a project. We have a small pantry where we make coffee. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and photos from different sites. It’s a practical workspace, not one of those modern fancy offices. We use old wooden desks that have been around for a long time. The carpet is a bit worn in the high-traffic areas. People drop in throughout the day to talk shop or drop off documents. We just try to keep everything organized, even if the filing system looks a bit messy to an outsider. It’s just how we work. We stay late most nights trying to get things finished. It’s a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It’s a lot of reading and checking facts.
