Our place is actually a house called Kochuparambil House, located in Kottayam, Kerala. It is a very local setting, surrounded by the greenery that this part of the country is known for. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy entrance. It is just a comfortable spot where people come to spend some time. Being in a house makes the atmosphere feel very different from a standard business. It is much more relaxed and quiet. We spend our days making sure the rooms are clean and the grounds are kept tidy. In Kerala, we have to deal with a lot of rain during the monsoon season, so there is always some maintenance work to do on the building. We are a small team, and most of us have lived in Kottayam our whole lives. We don't have any big marketing plans or corporate goals. We just want to keep the place running and make sure anyone who visits feels okay while they are here. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that is just part of life here. It is a simple existence, away from the rush of the bigger cities. We enjoy the slow pace and the chance to talk to the people who stop by. It is just a regular house that serves as a gathering point for the community.
