Caratlane

We are located inside the DLF Mall. It is a big place with lots of different stores, but you can find us if you look for our sign. Working in a mall is a bit different than being on a regular street. There is always music playing in the hallways and people walking by with shopping bags. Our shop, Caratlane, is where we spend most of our time. We have cases with different kinds of jewelry on display. It’s always very bright in here because of the mall lights. Most days are pretty steady, though it gets much busier on the weekends when families come out to eat and shop. We don’t really have a back room, so we are usually right out front where we can talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes people come in just to look because they have some time to kill before a movie starts. We don't mind that at all. It’s nice to have the air conditioning, especially when it is hot outside the mall. We have a small staff and we all know each other pretty well. We eat our lunch in the food court sometimes or just bring something from home. It is a clean and organized space, which makes the long hours go by a bit faster. We have been here for a while and have seen many other stores come and go. It is a busy environment but we are used to it.
