If you come down to Sector 63, you’ll find us at G-281. Blue Whale isn't a very big setup, just a regular office space in a busy part of the city. We have a few desks and some computers that stay on pretty much all the time. The air conditioner hums in the background which is a sound we don't even notice anymore. Outside, the street is usually lined with parked cars and people walking to the other offices in the sector. We have some plants on the windowsills but they probably need more water than they get. Most of the people working here have been around for a few years. We know each other's coffee orders and who likes to work in silence. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We handle a lot of digital work and files, so there isn’t much physical clutter besides the occasional stack of papers. Lunchtime is usually when everyone heads out to the local stalls or eats at their desks while reading something. Sometimes we stay a bit late if there is a lot to catch up on, but we try to head out before the traffic gets really bad. Sector 63 is a good place to be because everything is close by. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a few notes taped up. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. We just focus on the screen.
