Barflex Polyfilms

Barflex Polyfilms is situated at C-44 in Phase-2. It’s an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around outside. Our building is pretty much what you’d expect—lots of metal, concrete floors, and rolls of film everywhere. Most of the day is spent dealing with plastics and packaging materials. It’s a loud environment, and the smell of the production process is something you just get used to after a while. This isn't a big corporation with a human resources department or a fancy breakroom. A small area for sitting down to eat lunch is all we really have. Most of the time, everyone is out on the floor making sure the machines are running correctly and the quality is what it needs to be. It’s a hands-on job, and going home with grease or dust on our clothes is normal. There is no marketing team writing stuff for us; we just handle the orders as they come in and try to keep the machines from breaking down. The summers get really hot in the factory, but drinking a lot of water helps us keep going. Having been here for a long time, we have seen the neighborhood change, but the work stays pretty much the same. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without any breaks. We just try to get the orders out the door as fast as the machines allow.
