We’re located at G 89 in Sector 63. If you’ve been to this part of Noida, you know it’s just row after row of industrial blocks. Our place isn’t anything special to look at from the outside, just a gate and the sign. Inside, it’s mostly casting and engineering work going on. There’s a lot of metal lying around and the smell of oil is pretty much stuck in the walls by now. We’ve got a small team here, and most of us have been doing this for years. It’s a lot of standing around machines and making sure everything is aligned right. Sometimes things break down and we spend the whole afternoon just trying to get a motor running again. The local shops nearby are where we get our lunch, usually some dal and roti from the corner. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s just a workshop where things get made. We deal with a lot of blueprints and measurements every day. Sector 63 gets really crowded during shift changes, so we try to time our deliveries to miss the worst of it. It’s a steady kind of life, even if it gets a bit monotonous sometimes. Ardp Casting & Engineering Pvt Ltd is just the name on the door, but it’s really just a group of us working in the heat to get things done on time.
