Annapurna General Store

I open up Annapurna General Store every morning at Shop- No 13 B-9 / 2. We are tucked back behind Fortis Hospital in Sector 62. It’s a quiet spot most days, but it gets busy when people come from the hospital or the nearby offices. The shop isn't huge. It’s just a standard general store with shelves stacked high with whatever I can fit. I try to keep the essentials like snacks, soap, and drinks ready. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow lane, but that's just how it is here. Most people find us because they’re walking over from the main road or work nearby. It can get a bit dusty with the construction around the area, but I spend my time wiping down the glass counters with an old cloth. There isn’t much to say about the history. I just wanted a place to work and this shop was available. We have been here for a while now. Some days are slow and I just sit on my stool watching the people pass by toward the hospital. Other times, three people want things at once and I’m scrambling to find change in the drawer. The address is pretty easy to find if you know where the hospital is. It’s just right there in the back. I don’t have fancy displays, just the usual stuff people need when they’re in a hurry or heading home. It’s a simple life at the shop.
