Amit School Of Urban Management

We are located on the 4th floor of a building right along the Super Express Highway in Noida. If you look out the window, you just see the traffic moving back and forth all day. Being Amit School Of Urban Management means we spend a lot of time talking about how cities work, which is funny because we are right in the middle of one. It’s a practical kind of place. Not too many decorations on the walls. Mostly we have desks, some computers, and people coming in for classes or to talk about planning and city stuff. The commute here is okay since we are near the highway, though the noise is always there in the background. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just take the lift up and you'll find us. Usually, there are stacks of papers or maps lying around because there is always some project going on. People here are pretty serious about what they do but we still take time for tea in the afternoon. It gets busy during the middle of the week. We’ve been at this Noida address for a while now. It’s a good spot for what we do because you can see the urban world right outside. It isn't a glamorous office, just a workspace where things get done. We try to keep the coffee pot full because the days can get long. Sometimes students come in late because of the highway traffic, and we just tell them to take a seat. We have a lot of charts on the wall that show different parts of the city. Most of the desks are a bit older and have scratches on them. We aren't trying to be the most modern place, just a place where you can actually learn something useful.
