Ajanta Press has been operating out of C-15 in Sector-10 for quite some years now. It’s a quiet part of the Dist ., which is nice for getting work done without too many distractions. The building is a bit older, but it holds all our heavy printing presses just fine. When the machines start running, you can feel the floor vibrate a little. We handle mostly paper goods, things like local flyers, cards, and office forms. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist; you usually just walk in and find someone near the ink rollers. Everything is covered in a thin layer of paper dust, and the smell of ink is pretty strong. We spend our days loading paper and checking for smudges. Some of our machines are old-school, needing a bit of a kick to start, but they still print better than the new plastic ones. We don't do big advertisements for ourselves. Most people know us from word of mouth around the sector. It’s just steady, repetitive work that requires a bit of patience. We try to keep things moving so orders don't pile up too high. The stack of scrap paper in the corner grows every day, and we clear it out when we find the time. Most afternoons we just drink tea and wait for the final proofs to dry before packing them up.
