Abm Handicraft Overseas

We've been here at B-12 in Sector 12 for a while now. Most days you'll find us working on different wood and metal pieces in the back. It's dusty work but we enjoy seeing how the things turn out. We handle a lot of the shipping stuff ourselves too, which keeps us pretty busy. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs. People stop by sometimes to see the new stock we have ready. We started small and just kept going as the years went by. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when big orders come in from overseas, but we just take it one day at a time. My cousin helps out with the paperwork and the accounts. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. It is mostly word of mouth and people seeing what we make. The neighborhood knows where we are if they need us. It's a simple setup. We try to keep things moving. Making sure the items are packed right takes up a lot of our afternoon. If the lights are on, someone is usually inside working on a frame or a bowl. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade well. It gets hot in the summer back there in the workshop. We just keep the fans running and get on with the day's tasks. It’s not a complicated business at all. We just make things and send them where they need to go.
