A K Interiors

At D 102 in Sector 10, we have our little setup for A K Interiors. It’s mostly just a place where we keep samples and meet people to talk about their houses. You’ll see catalogs and fabric swatches piled up on the main table. It’s often a bit of a mess because we are always pulling things out to show someone. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and music. It’s just an honest workspace. We spend a lot of our time visiting sites and making sure the carpenters are doing what they’re supposed to do. Back at the office, we try to keep track of all the different projects. Sometimes we get caught up in small details like the handle of a cabinet or the shade of a wall. Sector 10 is pretty central, so it’s easy for people to find us. We’ve been working in this field for a while now. We know which suppliers are reliable and which ones will be late. It’s a lot of coordination. Usually, there’s a tape measure and a pencil tucked behind someone’s ear. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just help people get their rooms looking the way they want. Some days are stressful when things don't fit right, but we usually figure it out. It’s just us doing our job day after day at the workshop. The wall clock is five minutes fast but we never bother to change it.
