U.P Jal Nigam(U.P. State Government Department)

This is the U.P Jal Nigam office located in Greater Noida. Specifically, we are at B-160 in the Sigma-I sector. Because we are a state government department, things are a bit different here. There are a lot of official registers and stamps around the place. The office is in a part of Greater Noida that is still growing, so it is quite peaceful. We spend our time looking at water supply issues and managing the local infrastructure. It’s a lot of engineering talk and looking at maps of the area. We don’t have a marketing department because we don’t really sell things in the usual way. We just provide a service that the government needs us to do. The desks are old wooden ones and the chairs sometimes creak, but it is a place where real work happens. We have various staff members who travel from different parts of the NCR to get here every morning. Some of us have worked for the Jal Nigam for decades and have seen many changes. We don't use fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just about pipes, water, and making sure the systems are running for the people in the area. Sigma-I is our home base for now. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where we follow the rules and try to keep things moving through the official channels as best as we can. Our days are full of paperwork.
