Tara Construction

We are based out of Ghatsila in the East Singhbhum district. Our mail usually goes to Philip Clement’s care at Robinson Clement. It is a fairly quiet area compared to the big cities like Delhi, but there is always some kind of work to be done. We do construction projects all around this part of Jharkhand. It is mostly about getting the right people together to build things that stay standing. We do not have a big corporate office with glass walls or fancy rugs. Our workspace is more practical, with files and tools scattered around the place. People in the local community know us by name and often stop by to talk. We work with local laborers and try to keep things moving even when it is hard to get supplies delivered to this area. Construction is tough work, especially when the weather is not helping us out. We have seen a lot of changes in Ghatsila over the years we've been here. We started out small and stayed that way because we like being able to manage everything ourselves. There is no middleman here. If there is a problem at a site, one of us just goes down there and fixes it. We do not use any fancy jargon. We just talk about bricks, mortar, and when the job will be done. It is just an honest way to make a living for us.
