Supar Star

Supar Star is located right in the middle of Newkondli. The address is B-1/306 and it is a bit of a tight space but it works for what we need. Mayur Vihar-III is a very crowded area, so there is always noise and people walking past the windows. We have been set up in this spot for some time now. There is no big sign or anything flashy outside. It is just a regular workplace where we show up every morning. Some people get the name wrong when they call, but we do not mind that much. It is a local operation through and through. We mostly talk to people from the immediate neighborhood. Every morning starts with a cup of tea while we look at the mail. We see what needs doing and just get on with it without making a fuss. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, to be honest. But the work gets done anyway, so it is not a big priority for us. We do not spend much time on decorations or looking professional. It is more about the practical side of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, which is annoying. But that is just part of living in Delhi. We have a few chairs for when people visit. Most of the time it is quiet enough to think.
