Our office is situated in Pocket 1 of Kendriya Vihar - 2, right in Sector - 82 of Noida. It is a fairly quiet residential area, which is nice because it lets us focus on our drawings without too much noise from the main roads. We have been working out of this spot in G. B. Nagar for a good bit now. The space inside is mostly filled with large tables for laying out blueprints and a few computers that are always running hot. We aren't a huge firm with dozens of employees. It is just a handful of us who know how to put a building together on paper. Most of our days are spent taking measurements or talking to people about their house extensions and small renovations. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just have to sit and wait or talk about the projects by the window light. It is a very practical way of working. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. If someone wants a wall moved or a new kitchen planned, we just figure out the best way to do it without making it too complicated. The neighborhood is friendly, and we often see the same faces walking by every day. It feels like we are part of the local community here in U.P. and we just keep things moving one day at a time.
