We are set up at C-90 in Alfa-1st, which is over in Greater Noida, UP. This area is a bit different from the crowded parts of Delhi because the roads are wider and things feel a bit more spread out. Smcc Construction Ltd has been using this location as a base for our Uttar Pradesh operations. The office is straightforward and functional. We have a few rooms dedicated to different project teams and a lot of space for storing equipment and files. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, which helps when we need to concentrate on technical drawings or budget spreadsheets. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to polish our image. We are just construction people. You might see some muddy boots near the door and a few half-empty water bottles on the tables. That is just how it is when you are coming back from a site visit. We have some trees outside the window which is nice when the sun gets really hot in the summer. We keep things simple here. There are no mission statements on the walls, just calendars and project deadlines. We work regular hours and try to get things done without making a big deal of it. It is a good, solid place to work from in Greater Noida, and we have been here long enough to know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick lunch.
