Our office is over in Noida, specifically in Sector 82. We are in the Kendriya Vihar II area, Pocket II, building B 48. Working with glass isn't the easiest job in the world. It’s heavy and you have to be careful every single time you move a sheet. Ridhi Sidhi Glasses India Pvt Ltd has been based here for some time now. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a bit quieter than the main industrial hubs, which is nice for getting work done without too much noise. We spend a lot of time coordinating deliveries and making sure the glass doesn't break on the way to sites. The stairs in the building can be a bit of a workout if the lift is being slow. Noida gets incredibly dusty, so we are always cleaning the surfaces. It’s just how it is. We don't have any flashy slogans or a big lobby. It’s just an office where we keep the records and talk to the guys in the trucks. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit and wait it out or work by the windows. It’s a regular job with regular people. We know the area well and the tea stall nearby is where we usually end up around four o'clock. Most of our day is spent looking at measurements and checking schedules. It’s a lot of practical work and we just try to keep things moving.
