Opel Constructions,Lucknow

Our office is over in Jankipuram, which is a pretty quiet part of Lucknow compared to the main city center. We are located in Sahara States, specifically at 23/102 in the Gandhar block. It’s a residential-feeling area so it doesn't feel like a cold business district. Opel Constructions has been around here for a while. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to guys on the sites. Lucknow is growing fast and there is always some new building going up somewhere. The summer heat here is really something, so we try to get most of our site visits done in the early morning. If you come by the office, you’ll probably see stacks of files and some samples of tiles or bricks lying around. It’s not a very big space but it works for what we do. We have a few desks and a place to sit and talk. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoons and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just building stuff and making sure the walls are straight. It’s a lot of talking to suppliers and making sure the cement arrives on time. It gets stressful when the rain starts because everything slows down. But that is just how it is in construction. We like being in Jankipuram. It’s a good place to be based and the local food nearby is decent too.
