Our team works out of C-259 B in Sector-19, Noida. If you know this part of the city, we are pretty close to some of the older markets. Being a BPO means there is always a lot of noise, mostly typing and people talking on their headsets. It is a very steady pace of work. We aren't in one of those massive glass towers you see in the newer parts of town; our building is a bit more modest and plain. Sector-19 is a good place to be because it is easy to walk out and grab a bite to eat. The office itself is just rows of desks and a whole lot of computer cables. We try to keep it organized, but with so many people coming and going, there is usually a stray mug or a stack of papers on someone’s desk. It feels like a real working environment. We have shifts at all hours, so the lights are almost always on. The night shift is a lot quieter, which some of us actually like. It is less hectic than the afternoon rush. We have had some trouble with the power cutting out now and then, but the generator usually kicks in pretty quick. It’s just part of life in Noida. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any receptionists. You just come up the stairs and you are right where we work. It’s a practical setup.
