Kishore Sharma Architects

We have been at 26/813, Dda Flats in Kalkaji for quite a while now. Most days it’s just us surrounded by rolls of paper and half-empty tea cups. The Delhi heat gets pretty bad here in summer, but the office stays busy enough that we do not notice much until it is time to head home. People sometimes have trouble finding the specific block because these Dda flats all look similar, but once you are here, you will see we are just a small team working away. We do a lot of drafting and planning right here in New Delhi. It is not a fancy glass building or anything like that. Just a regular space where Kishore Sharma Architects operates. You might hear the neighbors or the traffic outside from the 110 019 area while we are discussing a floor plan. We do not really do the whole corporate pitch thing. It is mostly just sitting down at the desks, looking at site measurements, and figuring out how things fit together. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of ink right when we need it, but that is just how it goes. We have been part of this Kalkaji neighborhood for a long time. It feels like home more than an office sometimes. If you are around this part of South Delhi, you have probably walked past our door without thinking much of it. We just keep our heads down and get the drawings done.
