This is the main hub for Jaiprakash Associates Ltd as well. It’s a busy spot in Vasant Vihar, which is a pretty well-known part of the city. We have the Assistant Manager for Personnel here, along with a whole team of people who handle the human side of the power company. The building is usually buzzing with people coming in for interviews or employees checking on their paperwork. It’s not a quiet place. There is always someone walking down the hall with a stack of papers or a phone ringing somewhere. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but with so many people to look after, it takes time. The office is set up for work, nothing too glamorous. We have standard desks and computers and a lot of files about the hydro projects. It’s where the administrative heart of the operation beats. We aren't trying to sell anything from this office; we are just here to manage the staff and make sure everyone has what they need. It’s a lot of coordination between the Delhi office and the various project sites. We just take it one day at a time and deal with whatever comes up.
