Jamia Nagar is a busy place, and that’s where you’ll find us. We are tucked away in Nai Basti, specifically at number 51. Our office is through the care of Faizan Shamsi. It's Okhla, so things are always moving fast outside. The streets are narrow and there’s always someone calling out or a scooter zipping by. We deal with engineering and contracting work under the name Itec. It’s mostly just us sitting around a couple of desks with drawings and files. It’s not one of those glass buildings you see in Noida. It’s a real place with real walls and a bit of noise from the neighbors. New Delhi 25 is our home. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. Some people find the address hard to find at first because the lanes all look the same, but once you know the landmark, it’s easy. We drink a lot of chai during the day. Sometimes we have to go out to sites, so the office stays quiet for a few hours. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. Just some chairs and a table where we discuss the next project. It’s our work. The heat in Delhi gets to us in the summer, but we keep the fans going. It’s a neighborhood where everyone knows everyone. That’s how we like it. We aren't trying to be anything we're not, just local contractors doing our daily bit. We just keep things moving here in Okhla every single day.
