Our office is located on the first floor of B 21 in Vaishali Nagar, right here in Jaipur. Rajasthan summers are no joke, so we’re usually grateful for the air conditioning once the sun gets high. We’re Interarch Building Products Pvt Ltd, and this branch handles things for the local area. Being in Vaishali Nagar is great because there are plenty of places to eat nearby, though we usually just bring lunch. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of shelves for our samples and files. It’s not a huge space, so things can get a bit cluttered when we’re in the middle of a big project. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. Most of us show up, have a bit of a chat over tea, and then get down to the paperwork and phone calls. We deal with all sorts of building materials and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes customers drop by to discuss their plans, and we just pull up a spare chair and talk it through. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we take the work seriously. There’s a lot of coming and going throughout the day with people heading out to sites or coming back from meetings. It feels like a real community here, not just a place where people sit in cubicles all day long. We just focus on doing our bit.
